ERGO Xtra is an inspiring day with lectures and dialogue about the connection between economics, governance and organisation on the one hand, and religion, philosophy and happiness on the other. After a successful ERGO Xtra I in June 2017, ERGO Xtra II will follow in 2018. The afternoon program is in English.
At ERGO Xtra II speakers with different backgrounds reflect on (a) the role of religion in the public domain, (b) leadership, trust and love, (c) moral markets and (d) rethinking economics education.
ERGO Xtra is open to students, entrepreneurs, managers, policy makers and researchers with an interest in the topic. Everyone is welcome. Participation is free, but registration is required. You can register here.
Block C: Moral Markets. Lecture by Prof. Johan Graafland on ‘Economic Freedom, Intrinsic Motivation and Corporate Social Responsibility’, followed by discussion by chair of the day Marcel Canoy.
Block D: Rethinking Economics Education. A panel discussion on rethinking economics education, with Prof. Dr. Lans Bovenberg, Sam de Muijnck, and others to be announced.
